HAWGLEGG

BORN IN THE MOUNTAINS OF COLORADO, HAWGLEGG HAS BEEN ROCKING FOR 11 YEARS.  THROUGH MANY EXCURSIONS, AND TRIALS IN ALL OF OUR LIVES, THE MUSIC HAS EVOLVED INTO MEANINGFUL, HEARTFELT, FROM THE GUT SONGS.  WE LIKE TO DESCRIBE OURSELVES AS A "STORYTELLING" BAND.  THAT'S WHAT THESE SONGS ARE, THEY ARE WRITTEN FROM THE LAUGHTER AND THE TEARS OF DAY TO DAY LIFE, WITH A TOUCH OF BLUES AND A DASH OF IN YOUR FACE ROCK!

David Butler

I am a native son of Colorado, born in the working man's town of Pueblo, Colorado.  Growing up in the 50s and 60s, I learned early that a strong heart and soul work well to conquer life's hardships.  Spending my teen years in Colorado Springs during the revolutionary 70s, I thank the Man every day for becoming interested in playing guitar at the early age of 10.  This is a huge reason why I was able to pull through all of the troubles of short cancer, divorce, prison and alcoholism.  None of these were able to take my desire and love to play away, and because of them I've been influenced to write my music.  Since becoming a founding member of Hawglegg in 1995 along with my brothers, I'm more than thankful for the vehicle we have created to tell you the stories we have lived & dreamed.

CLASSIC ROCK FOREVER
Dave "The Ripper" Butler
Thomy G.

A native of Colorado, I grew up in the north rural part of Denver.  After receiving my first guitar, at age 12, I was hooked.  Although unable to follow my love of music in the beginning, I always longed to write and perform music.  After a long and dangerous career in the building of High Voltage Power Lines in all of the mountain states, including Alaska, and after sustaining many injuries, which took me from my trade, I have finally been able to concentrate on my love of music and my love of the outdoors.  The music that you hear, and the pictures you see are about real people, real lives.  Hawglegg was born to share our lives and our talent, to tell you about our life stories in a new way.  We wish to create Rock that doesn't suck, and present it to you in a clear voice.
